Meadowlark's founder is Rick Levinson, a financial journalist and former personal finance editor at CNBC, AARP and Bloomberg News. He also was a news editor at The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong and New York. In the course of his work, he became dismayed by the lack of creditable personal financial information for everyday consumers.

As a result he started this firm, a place he hopes will give people the facts they need to make better financial decisions to secure their futures.

Outside of work, he teaches financial literacy to young people through the High Water Women foundation and hops on his bike whenever he can.
